Kyneton Botanic Gardens is an easy day trip from Melbourne.
Do you need a calm weekend getaway? Visit Kyneton Botanic Gardens, have a slow walk along the Campaspe River, sit and relax under huge gorgeous trees.
The Gardens were established in 1858 and you can still find a drinking fountain built in 1902.
It is located in the Macedon Range Shire at 4 Clowes St, Kyneton VIC 3444.
There is plenty of street parking. If no free parking spots next to the entrance, just drive further up the street along the park’s border.
The park has a picnic area, BBQs, and toilets.
A few people were fishing in the man-made pool made on the Campaspe River.
